MPAR: Rising Sea Levels

In this prototype, we explored a way to visualise the escalating dangers of climate change on rising sea levels. Rising sea levels are often just numbers. It can be hard to visualise what a 0.08m rise might actually look like in reality. What would these rising sea levels look like if they were rising up before you? In "Rising Sea Levels", we took NASA's predicted global mean sea level at its height every few years and brought it into your surroundings with augmented reality. We also provide a range of interesting information about the effects of these rising sea levels through narration alongside the visuals.
